7353

2019

In a complex world, we get lost more and more. We are losing our ability to judge since intelligent systems help us to assess reality. Their knowledge exceeds that of humans. Specific problems can be solved in a fraction of a second.
"7353", a modern fable, tells of a device for donkey recognition. Current tendencies of technological development are humorously taken to the extreme: Public detection terminals can be found wherever there is an enhanced chance of confrontation with a donkey. When a donkey approaches, the display rotates by 180° and decodes the cryptic numerical codes of the black box: 7353 becomes ESEL (donkey).
